HOYO TOKYO AKASAKA

The Akasaka area boasts outstanding transportation convenience, one of the best in Tokyo, served not only by Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, but also Akasaka-mitsuke Station (Marunouchi & Ginza Lines) and Tameike-Sanno Station (Namboku & Ginza Lines). Furthermore, Nagata-cho Station (Yurakucho & Hanzomon Lines) is potentially within walking distance. Access to the major business hubs of Otemachi and Marunouchi takes approximately 10 minutes directly, and Ginza is also directly accessible in about 5-10 minutes. Major terminal stations like Shibuya and Shinjuku can be reached in about 10-15 minutes with no or just one transfer. Its proximity to Roppongi, being within walking distance or a short taxi ride away, is another advantage. Car access is also smooth, with the Kasumigaseki and Iikura entrances to the Shuto Expressway’s Inner Circular Route (C1) nearby.

Akasaka’s Convenience

Living Convenience:

Akasaka presents a dual character: it’s a vibrant commercial center featuring landmarks like TBS and Akasaka Sacas, high-end traditional ryotei restaurants, modern eateries, and bars. However, step into the side streets, and you’ll find tranquil residential areas dotted with embassies and Diet members’ residences. Despite being in the heart of the city, green spaces like the Akasaka Hikawa Shrine also exist. Regarding safety, while the commercial areas are busy at night, the area is generally considered safe, benefiting from a significant police presence including the Akasaka Police Station, local koban (police boxes), and security guards. Real resident feedback includes comments like, “It’s incredibly convenient to get anywhere. Even if I miss the last train, it’s easy to get a taxi home,” “There are so many great restaurants, you’ll never be short of options for eating out. However, there might be slightly fewer supermarkets for everyday grocery shopping,” “It’s lively at night, but if you choose your residential spot carefully, it can be surprisingly quiet,” and “Rent is high, but you get status and convenience in return.” The area is particularly popular among singles, DINKS (Dual Income No Kids), and business professionals who prioritize convenience and an urban lifestyle.
